ADELINA SILVA is a filmmaker and artist currently based in Chicago, IL. Using these foundational themes, she investigates the smaller secondary emotions that lie beneath the surface, such as obsession or yearning. She enjoys expressing these feelings through mixed-media image-making and the aesthetics of early internet web culture. 

She combines textiles, digitized ephemera, and craft techniques to support her mixed-media image-making within her film work. Her visual and aesthetic interests are directly informed by her early life, which was distinctly marked by excessive web-browsing and making videos with her toys.
